"you can never be too rich, too something, and too something else. how does that saying go?" ~ emily puffenberger

it was recently brought to my attention, by my mother and father, that i am -~-wait for it-~- unemployed.  how dare they remind me of this sad fact?!  concerned about my spending habits, they suggested that i save my money.  i was so upset that i went right out and bought a new pair of shoes, then hid under my covers and ate jelly beans for the rest of the day.  now, in my defense, i was recently 'laid-off' from my job and have not found anything worthy of my high work-place standards since.

if any of you know of a job where i can make at least $250,000 a year and only work when it is convenient for me, please call me immediately.  until then, i suppose my job title would be as follows:  'fabulous.'  yep, that pretty much sums it up.

although this blog is very fulfilling and lots of fun, it sure doesn't make me any money.  on top of that, i have also recently decided that i am the size equivalent of a hump-back whale.  all of those delish baked goods i've been whipping up for this blog have really caught up to my ass.  being the problem solver that i am, i started brainstorming a way that i could manage to eat on a regular basis, lose weight and save money.  what i came up with is pretty good.  i would make huge meals, divide them into calorie-conscious portions, then freeze them.  its kinda like nutri-system for the poor.

so i immediately went out and spent $200 on ingredients and made a ton of beef stew and lasagna.  organic may be more expensive, but you simply can't put a price on being skinny, unless you plan on getting a trainer and nutritionist.  i would attach the recipes but i am too weak from dieting for the last 2 hours to type that much.  sorry.

i hope you all have a nice day.  if you eat anything really good, please write about it in the comments section so i can live vicariously through you.  on second, thought, that may be torture...

I had brownies with Jeni's salty caramel ice cream. It was amazing, sigh.
